How to Access the Library Resources from Off Campus

Most of the library's website is accessible off campus without any special login. However, to get full access to databases, e-journals, and other proxied resources, you will need to log into the proxy with your SUNY Sullivan Network Credentials.  If you do not know your network credentials, you can look them up here.

You will need your student ID number, last name, and hometown zip code to look up your credentials. You will also need to check the box indicating that you agree to the SUNY Sullivan Responsible Use Policy.

Once you have your network credentials, you can access library resources using either of the two following methods.

If you are having any problems getting full access to our resources or logging into your library account, please contact us by email at library@sunysullivan.edu or through our library chat in the lower right corner of the home screen.

Using the General Library Search

The main search box on our homepage will search through all the resources that the library has access to. Click on the link below to access our step by step guide on using the library discovery system off campus.

Using Our Databases Directly

If you've accessed a database using the A-Z database list or any other link on our website, you will need to log into the college proxy, when prompted, in order to have full access to the resource. Your credentials will be the same as your Brightspace login. You should encounter a screen that looks like the image below. Once you successfully enter your credentials, you should have full access to the resource you were trying to access.
