1 Q: What devices can I use to read eBooks from cloudLibrary?

1 A: Computer (Windows & MAC), App Store, Google Play, Kindle Fire, Nook apps, Chrome Web Store, and in Browser. 

2 Q: Does it cost anything to use cloudLibrary?

2 A: No, this is a library service provided to SUNY Sullivan network users. 

3 Q: How many eBooks can I have checked out at once from cloudLibrary?

3 A: We allow each patron to have a maximum of 5 eBooks checked out at one time. 

4 Q: How many eBooks can I have on hold at once from cloudLibrary?

4 A: We allow each patron to have a maximum of 5 eBooks on hold at one time. 

5 Q: How long can I borrow an eBook from cloudLibrary?

5 A: The borrowing (loan) period is 21 days.

6 Q: Will I pay a fine if I do not return my eBook on time to cloudLibrary?

6 A: No! At the end of the loan period, your items will automatically be returned. 

7 Q: Can I see what eBooks titles have not been checked out from cloudLibrary and show up as Available?

7 A: Yes. Go to Main menu and click on Filters and then Available Now. This will filter the titles to only those that are not checked out. Note: This setting will remain active until you change it.

How to Access cloudLibrary

cloudLibrary is a portal that allows you to borrow e-Books to read on a tablet, mobile phone or computer. 

Step 1: Browse to

Step 2: Select the country (United States), state (New York)  and library (SUNY Sullivan - Hermann Memorial Library)

Step 3: Click Login button to gain access to the titles. Important!  Only users with a network ID and password can access cloudLibrary titles!

Enter your network username in the box that prompts for your Library Card ID.

Enter your network password in the box that prompts for your Password/PIN.

If you’ve received a message that you cannot activate your device because you’ve reached your limit of adobe device activations, you can use the form below to reset the activation for your device. Your device should be reset within 48 business hours of the request.
